Dr. Holly Marshall is an Associate Lecturer in the School of International Relations at the University of St Andrews. She holds a PhD in International Relations, focusing on free speech and Hannah Arendt's political philosophy. Her research explores the intersections of action, opinion, and identity within political theory, particularly through the lens of Arendtian thought.
Education: She completed her doctoral thesis titled "Action, opinion, identity: free speech and Hannah Arendt" in 2022, supervised by Prof. A.F. Lang Jr. and Dr. P. Hayden.
Research activities include peer review for journals such as the Journal of International Political Theory, where she has served as a reviewer since 2024.
