Il Sun Yoo is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa's Shidler College of Business. His research focuses on corporate disclosures, supply chain finance, regulatory impacts, and technology adoption within accounting contexts. He holds a PhD in Management (Accounting) from the University of California, Irvine (2023), with prior degrees from UC Irvine and Konkuk University.
Dr. Yoo's work explores intersections between corporate communication strategies and external environments, including legal frameworks (e.g., anti-SLAPP laws) and technological advancements. His recent studies address topics like disclosure effects on supplier payments, gender diversity reporting, and AI's influence on financial analysis productivity. He is affiliated with initiatives like the Hawaii Accounting Research Conference (HARC) and actively contributes to doctoral training programs.
