Igor Tomic, Ph.D., is a Professor of Economics and Finance at The Peter J. Tobin College of Business, St. John’s University. With a career spanning academia and industry, he combines theoretical rigor with practical career skills training for students.

- Academic Director of the Financial Services Institute
- Editor of the peer-reviewed Tobin College’s Review of Business
His research focuses on tax incentives to limit migration, examining capital outflows from New York State and their economic impact. He previously studied privatization, dollarization, and mergers & acquisitions.
