Ifrah Salih is a Senior Lecturer and Associate Head of School at the School of Health and Social Care, Sheffield Hallam University, where she serves as Profession Lead for Mental Health Nursing. With extensive NHS nursing experience and a Doctorate in Education, her work centers on racial equity, student belonging, and inclusive pedagogies in healthcare education.

Her national recognition includes the Students' Union Academic Staff of the Year Award and finalist status for the Student Nursing Times Educator of the Year. She contributes to the Council of Deans (Health) Anti-Racism Advisory group and leads the Nursing and Midwifery Minoritised (NMM) group.
Recent research explores narrative engagement for anti-racism, student-led equity initiatives, and inclusive teaching interventions. She supervises MSc healthcare students and serves as a reviewer for Pastoral Care in Education and RCNi.
