Idrissa Beogo is an Associate Professor at the School of Nursing, University of Ottawa, and Director of the Seniors' Health Equity Laboratory. His expertise spans multicultural aging, gerontology, and public health, with a focus on linguistic and cultural minorities in healthcare. He holds an MBA and PhD in International Public Health, with postdoctoral training at Laval University.

He leads studies on social capital interventions to combat isolation in long-term care facilities and has published extensively on pandemic responses, vaccine hesitancy, and migrant health. Affiliations include the Institut du Savoir Montfort, LIFE Institute, and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Black Health.
His work addresses systemic barriers in healthcare access for marginalized groups, with grants from CIHR, SSHRC, and Quebec's Secretariat for Canadian Relations. Current projects emphasize equitable long-term care solutions for Canada's aging population through his LESA~HEAL lab.
