معرفی
Ida Dyhr Caspersen serves as an External Lecturer at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Copenhagen. A Cand.Psych. graduate currently finalizing her PhD, her doctoral research employs the Theory of Visual Attention (TVA) to map cognitive profiles in ADHD for enhanced diagnostics and treatment.
Her primary research interests encompass cognitive psychology and child neuropsychology, with emphasis on attentional disorders including ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and neurodevelopmental conditions like spina bifida and cerebral palsy. She investigates perceptual and response-related components of visual attention through TVA, and examines environmental factors such as auditory white noise on cognitive processing.
Analysis of her 12 research outputs (2013-2025) reveals a cohesive trajectory in child attention research. Early work established attention profiles in ADHD and spina bifida, while recent projects expanded to large-scale protocols (e.g., TIPY Study on Klinefelter syndrome, CPCog-Youth on cerebral palsy), reflecting growing leadership in clinical neuropsychology.
Though no individual awards are listed, her collaborative work spans multiple high-impact studies. She actively contributes to grant-funded research, particularly in nationwide Danish clinical trials, and mentors within her department's academic environment.
