Her research focuses on neuropsychological assessment of attention functions using the Theory of Visual Attention (TVA), alterations in attention during normal aging and neurodegenerative diseases (e.g., Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s), spatial remapping in parietal-damaged patients, and impairments in spatial and object working memory.
- Key research areas: Visual processing capacity, spatial orientation, alertness, neurodegenerative diseases, Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s, neuropsychology
Publications highlight her work on TVA-based attentional modeling, cognitive deficits in neurodegenerative conditions, and perceptual biases in unilateral neglect patients. She has mentored multiple GSN graduate students.
