Prof. Ianika Tzankova is a Full Professor of Global Dispute Resolution and Mass Claims at Tilburg Law School. She holds the first European chair in Class Actions and Mass Claim Dispute Resolution (established 2007). She serves as Interim Academic Director of the Global Law Bachelor and Academic Director of the Honours Outreach Program.

Research Interests: Collective Redress, Mass Claims, Private Enforcement, Litigation Funding, Judicial Case Management, and the impact of technology on legal systems. Her work emphasizes transnational litigation and procedural law reforms, with a focus on the Netherlands and EU frameworks.
Recent Trends in Articles: Prof. Tzankova’s recent work examines litigation funding mechanisms, comparative analysis of EU collective redress systems, and judicial responses to mass claims in the financial sector. Her 2024 publications address cy près doctrine applications and litigation fund structures.
