Dr. Iana Alexeeva is a Stipendiary Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Oxford, specializing in health psychology, cognitive psychology, and behavioral medicine. Her research focuses on the cognitive and behavioral aspects of chronic physical illnesses, particularly asthma, exploring how individuals perceive, monitor, and cope with their health conditions.

Dr. Alexeeva investigates health psychology and cognitive psychology, particularly in the context of chronic illnesses. Her work delves into how cognitive processes influence illness perception, symptom monitoring, and treatment adherence. She explores how individuals attend to bodily changes, interpret symptoms, and make health-related decisions, with a focus on conditions like asthma and chronic fatigue syndrome.
