Dr. Ian Stewart is a Reader (equivalent to Associate Professor) in Management Education at the University of Manchester's Department of Civil Engineering and Management. He holds visiting lectureships at École d'Ingénieurs en Génie des Systèmes Industriels (La Rochelle) and Paris Sciences et Lettres. His qualifications include a BSc Hons, PGCE, PhD (UMIST), and Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).
Research Focus: Stewart investigates (1) the impact of AI on project management professions, (2) historical evolution of British industrial management (1850-present), (3) experiential learning methodologies (games/simulations), and (4) commercial management innovation.
