Ian Shotton is a Senior Lecturer and International Business programme leader at the University of Chester's Faculty of Science, Business and Enterprise. With 10 years in academia preceded by a career in international banking, he specializes in global economic strategy, technology disruption, and operational efficiency.
His research explores Artificial Intelligence applications in business and student partnership models in higher education.
He teaches international business, cross-cultural management, and finance at undergraduate and master's levels. As a trustee of the Bren Project charity, he supports work placements for individuals with learning disabilities.
