Ian Peebles is the Harold T. Shapiro Postdoctoral Research Associate of Bioethics at Princeton University's Center for Human Values. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania, where he also engaged in research at the Center for Neuroscience and Society. His work bridges ethics, neuroethics, and the philosophy of race, with a focus on the ethical implications of neuroenhancements and the role of race theory in medicine and neuroscience. He also explores Aristotelian virtue ethics frameworks.
