Ian Norheim is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electric Energy, NTNU in Gjøvik. He holds a Doctor ingeniør degree in Electric Power Engineering from NTNU (2002). His career includes research at SINTEF (2002–2007), power infrastructure projects at Eidsiva Nett (2007–2013), and teaching at Gjøvik University College (2014–2015). His research focuses on renewable energy integration, power systems planning, and microgrid design.
