Ian Lee

Dr. Ian Lee is a Consultant Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), with an office in Room 531 of the Lee Shau Kee Building. His teaching portfolio spans multiple academic levels:

• Commercial Law and Company Law for undergraduate (LLB) students
• Business Law, Commercial Law, Corporate Insolvency, and International Taxation for postgraduate (JD/LLM) students
• Understanding Financial Statements and Solicitors’ Accounts for Postgraduate Certificate of Laws (PCLL) students
• Specialized training for professional examinations including Solicitors’ Accounts (OLQE) and Hong Kong Company Law (CGQP)

His research centers on regulatory frameworks in finance and law, particularly Anti-Money Laundering Laws in Hong Kong, with publications in the Journal of Money Laundering Control. Dr. Lee also contributes to public policy as a member of the Inland Revenue Board of Review, adjudicating tax-related appeals.
