Research emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches to understanding social organization, material culture, and historical ecology. Projects combine archaeological excavation with ethnographic film and community engagement to preserve intangible cultural heritage. Active in both academic and public-facing scholarship, his work bridges anthropology, archaeology, and documentary media.
Grants and collaborations include multi-country comparative studies on rural homesteads and maritime traditions. No specific awards listed in text, though projects suggest significant recognition in heritage studies.
