Dr. Ian Haig is a Senior Lecturer in Media Art at the School of Art, RMIT University. His career spans over three decades, focusing on interdisciplinary art practices exploring the intersection of technology, the body, and cultural critique.
Education:

- Masters in Media Arts, RMIT (1997–1998)
- Graduate Diploma and Diploma in Art, RMIT (1990, 1987)
Research Interests: Explores visceral and abject themes through media art, examining body horror, trash culture, and the impact of technology on human existence. Works across video, sculpture, and installation, challenging societal norms around the 'low' and 'base' in culture.
