Professor Ian Cameron is a clinician researcher and Chair in Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Sydney's School of Health Sciences. He holds concurrent roles as Senior Staff Specialist at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital and Southern NSW Local Health District. As Head of the John Walsh Centre for Rehabilitation Research, he leads interdisciplinary research on injury-related disability, rehabilitation, and implementation science. His work spans clinical, epidemiological, and educational domains, with a focus on musculoskeletal injuries, disability in older adults, and catastrophic injuries.
