His work focuses on mathematics education, mobile learning, and technology-enhanced learning environments. He has led the DiToM – Diagnostic Tools in Mathematics project, fostering cross-European collaboration for diagnostic mathematics materials.
- Key Research Areas: Mobile technologies in education, augmented reality for mathematical concepts (e.g., scale, spatial coordination), collaborative inquiry-based learning, and didactical situation design.
- Publications: Over 25 refereed articles and book chapters, including works on dynamic representations, teacher orchestration of ICT-supported instruction, and cross-context mathematical activities (2012–2023).
- Conference Contributions: Presented at CERME, ICCE, and PME conferences on topics like self-regulating learners, outdoor learning, and blended pedagogical-technological design.
- Books: Authored/Co-authored Algebra för lärare (2017, 2023), Matematik startbok (2007, 2019), and Sannolikhet och statistik för lärare (2019).
- ICT Integration: Developed modules for Swedish Lärportalen (2015–2016) on dynamic representations, equation teaching, and IKT-supported orchestration in mathematics classrooms.
