Håkan Johansson is a researcher at Kristianstad University, affiliated with the Faculty of Teacher Education and the Department of Subject Teacher Education. He is part of the Learning in Language and Literature (LiLL) research group and involved in the PYRK: Research School of Pedagogy and Professional Knowledge - South University project.

Research Interests: His work focuses on the dynamics between professional and educational contexts, specifically analyzing linguistic practices on construction sites versus those in the Construction and Civil Engineering program. He explores how language use in vocational settings informs educational practices and vice versa, emphasizing discourse analysis and language development.
Recent Publications: His 2024 article, Professional language meets school language: does love arise?, published in a popular science journal, examines the intersection of workplace and academic language environments.
Academic Activities: Johansson has presented at multiple conferences (2024) on topics like Kilroy lives here (ethnographic study of construction site graffiti) and Drawings as mediating tools on the construction site. He also serves as Chairman in the Forum for Pedagogy and Professional Skills network from 2024 onwards.
