Hyeongwoo Kim

Hyeongwoo Kim is the Patrick E. Molony Professor of Economics at Auburn University. He joined the faculty in 2006 after completing his PhD at The Ohio State University. His research focuses on empirical models related to exchange rates, financial asset prices, and commodity prices.

Kim's work appears in journals like Journal of Applied Econometrics, Journal of International Money and Finance, and Energy Economics. He has presented at major conferences including the NBER Summer Institute and ASSA annual meetings.

He currently serves as an editor for the KDI Journal of Economic Policy and associate editor for the International Economic Journal and Journal of Economic Development. Additionally, he is Secretary-General of the Korea-America Economic Association and a member of South Korea's National Unification Advisory Council.
