Hyemi Chong

Dr. Hyemi Chong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of General Internal Medicine. She serves as Assistant Chief of Medical Service at the VA North Texas Health Care System and Site Director for the internal medicine residency program at the VA. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she joined UT Southwestern's faculty in 2017.

• Internal Medicine Residency, Washington University in St. Louis/Barnes-Jewish Hospital (Chief Resident)

Research & Leadership: Dr. Chong focuses on clinical practice improvement and medical education, particularly in residency training. She participates in key committees including the Clinical Competency Committee and Program Evaluation Committee at UT Southwestern, as well as the Peer Review Committee and Resident Advisory Council at the VA North Texas Health Care System.
