Meredith McAdams

Meredith McAdams, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Nephrology. She provides clinical services at the North Texas VA Health Care System and Clements University Hospital, specializing in acute kidney injury, ICU nephrology, and advanced chronic kidney disease.

Education:

• Bachelor’s in Biology (magna cum laude), Xavier University
• M.D. with honors, University of Kentucky
• Internal Medicine Residency, University of Kentucky
• Clinical Nephrology Fellowship (Chief Fellow), UT Southwestern

Research: Focuses on acute kidney injury, cardiorenal syndrome, and quality-of-life outcomes in chronic kidney disease. Her work has yielded peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national conferences.
