Hyekyung Jin is an Adjunct Instructor of Korean at Emory University, affiliated with the Department of Russian and East Asian Languages and Cultures. She holds an M.A. in Korean Language and Literature from Yonsei University (2014) and is currently a Ph.D. candidate there, focusing on prosodic features in the Korean language.

Her research interests center on prosody in the Korean language, and she has extensive teaching experience, including roles at Hongik University's International Language Institute (2016–2023), the Community Center for Multicultural Families in Pohang (2010–2011), and the National University of Modern Languages in Islamabad, Pakistan (2008–2010). She holds Certificates of Korean Language Teacher (Level 1 and 2) and Teacher's Certificates in Korean Language Education and English for secondary schools.
She contributes to textbook development as part of the writing staff for Hongik University's International Language Institute and serves as a proofreader for the National Institute of Korean Language, participating in national licensing exams and curriculum book projects since 2018.
Labs/Teams: Engaged in proofreading and curriculum development projects with the National Institute of Korean Language.
