Bumyong Choi is a Teaching Professor of Korean at Emory University's Department of Russian and East Asian Languages and Cultures. He coordinates the Korean language program and has taught at institutions including the University of Hawaii and Northwestern University. His research focuses on Korean corpus linguistics, cognitive approaches to language teaching, and technology integration in education. He holds a Ph.D. in Korean Linguistics from the University of Hawaii (2011), with a dissertation on cognitive analysis of Korean syntax.
