Hyacinth I. Hyacinth is a Professor at the University of Cincinnati, affiliated with the Department of Neurology. His research focuses on the biological basis of disparities in stroke, cognitive impairment, and dementia, particularly examining the role of sickle cell mutations and genetic variants in cerebral macro/microvascular pathologies among individuals of African ancestry.
