Hussein Adebayo Ibrahim

Hussein Adebayo Ibrahim is a Senior Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) in the School of Engineering and the Built Environment, Faculty of Science and Engineering. He serves as Course Director and Distance Learning Coordinator for the MSc in Project Management program. With a background spanning construction industry roles and academic research, he holds a PhD in Construction Technology and Management from the University of Malaya (2018), an MSc in Construction Management from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and a BSc in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

His teaching focuses on project management, civil/construction project management, engineering management, and sustainability in the built environment. Research interests include circular construction, modern methods of construction (MMC), concrete technology, and sustainable construction practices. He has extensive experience in construction technology and management, with peer-reviewed contributions to journals like Construction and Building Materials and the European Journal of Environmental and Civil Engineering.

Ibrahim’s work emphasizes sustainability through recycled materials and waste utilization, evident in publications on pervious concrete, recycled aggregates, and palm oil clinker applications. He serves as a peer reviewer for journals including Construction and Building Materials and the Journal of Science and Technology.
