Hung-bin Ding is an Associate Professor and Chair in Management and International Business at the Sellinger School of Business and Management, Loyola University Maryland. His academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an MA in Management from The George Washington University, and a BA in Economics from Soochow University.
His research spans family business, entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and green innovation in emerging economies. He co-organized the award-winning panel discussion on Corporate Sustainability in Emerging Economies at the 2011 AOM conference and serves on the review boards of the Journal of Enterprising Culture and Journal of Small Business Management.
Hung-bin’s publications focus on IPO performance in family firms, stakeholder engagement in green innovation, and knowledge acquisition in strategic alliances. His work bridges socioemotional wealth theory with practical CSR implementation, particularly in cross-cultural contexts.
