Dr. Irem Demirkan is an Associate Professor of International Business in the Sellinger School of Business and Management at Loyola University Maryland. Prior to her current role, she held faculty positions at Northeastern University, Suffolk University, and James Madison University in International Business and Strategic Management. She earned her Ph.D. and M.A. in International Management Studies and Management and Administrative Sciences from the Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas, and her B.A. in Economics from Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey.
