Hui Cai is a Professor at the School of Architecture within the College of Design at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She also serves as the Executive Director of the SimTigrate Design Lab, an interdisciplinary research center focused on health through design innovation.

- Education: Ph.D. from Georgia Tech; M.A. in Architecture from National University of Singapore; B.Arch. from Southeast University, China
Her research combines performance-driven, evidence-based design with analytical tools like space syntax analysis, discrete event simulations, and behavioral mappings to study interactions between culture, human behavior, and physical environments in healthcare settings and healthy communities.
Dr. Cai's work has been recognized with prestigious awards, including:

The lab has secured $7M in funded projects and involves students at all academic levels in its research activities.
