Sir Hugh Ennor (1912–?) was a distinguished biochemist and academic leader at the Australian National University (ANU). He served as Professor of Biochemistry at the John Curtin School of Medical Research and later as Dean of the School. His career included roles at the Baker Medical Research Institute, Commonwealth Serum Laboratories, and the Department of Education and Science. Ennor's leadership extended to co-founding the National Heart Foundation and fostering initiatives like the Research School of Chemistry at ANU. He was honored with a CBE (1963), Knight Bachelor (1965), and multiple honorary degrees.
