Huey-Jen Lin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medical & Molecular Sciences at the University of Delaware's College of Health Sciences. She holds a PhD from the University of Delaware and completed postdoctoral research at Princeton University. Her primary research focuses on epigenetic regulation in breast and pancreatic cancers, examining how aberrant signaling molecules influence tumor initiation, progression, and metastasis. She aims to identify diagnostic biomarkers and develop targeted therapies.
- Education: PhD, University of Delaware; Postdoctoral Researcher, Princeton University
Research emphasizes the interplay between dysregulated signaling pathways and epigenetic modifications in carcinogenesis. Current efforts include uncovering microenvironmental factors driving tumorigenesis and exploring therapeutic strategies to correct signaling pathways. Lin teaches courses such as MEDT 200 (Language of Medicine), MEDT 270 (Medical Microbiology), and MEDT 390 (Molecular Diagnosis).
