Dr. Holly Saron is a researcher at Edge Hill University, affiliated with the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine and the iCARE research centre. Her work focuses on child-centred qualitative research, healthcare communication, and pediatric technology such as tele-consultations. She co-developed animations for health resources and is part of the CASTLE Sleep-E and iSUPPORT teams.

Her research explores children/youth/families' healthcare experiences, clinical procedure interactions, and digital health innovations like the DETECT study. Recent work includes studies on chronic pain in young adults and remote pediatric consultations.
She supervises PhD students on pediatric nursing communication modules and is involved in the NWCR-funded THRIVE study on cancer support interventions. Collaborations span international health professionals and child rights experts.
