Holly Morgan is a Contract Academic Instructor (PhD in English) at the University of New Brunswick's Faculty of Arts, Department of English. She specializes in postcolonial and world literatures, with significant expertise in gender and women’s studies. Her teaching spans Canadian/Indigenous literature, African literature, women’s literature, and introductory writing courses. In gender studies, she focuses on intersections of gender with food, health, ecocriticism, and fat studies.
Her research explores transnational themes in South Asian women’s writing, particularly surrogacy and sexual violence, building on her doctoral work about transnational adoption in diasporic Indian women’s narratives. She also maintains an ongoing interest in food studies within global literary contexts.
