Holly Hudson serves as an Assistant Professor and Regional Health Sciences Librarian at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). She holds an MLIS from the University of Washington (2020–2022) and a B.S. in Business Administration—Finance from Montana State University Billings. Her research focuses on health information science, community health strategies, and medical education. Recent work includes studies on community-engaged food retail interventions and challenges in library-based chat support systems.
Teaching activities include workshops such as Medical Colloquia - Where Did You Hear That?, designed to help patients identify misinformation, offered in March 2024 and February 2025. She collaborates on projects emphasizing public health literacy and library service innovation.
