Dr. Holly Bardutz serves as a Researcher and linguistics instructor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Studies at the University of Regina, with active collaborations at the University of Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan Health Association.
Her research centers on Brain Health and Wellness across diverse populations, investigating sleep-brain interactions, the Default Mode Network, and neurocardiological relationships. She integrates these themes with linguistic studies through specialized courses like Neurolinguistics and First Language Acquisition, preparing students for Speech Pathology careers. Her work emphasizes practical applications of neuroscience in educational contexts.
As Principal Investigator, Dr. Bardutz leads independent research projects and developed a copyrighted eight-week Brain Health and Fitness Course based on current neuroscience. She actively mentors students interested in language-brain connections while expanding community-focused brain health initiatives through institutional partnerships.
