Dr Emily Lindsay-Smith is a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the Language & Brain Lab, part of the Faculty of Linguistics, Philology & Phonetics at the University of Oxford. Her research focuses on interdisciplinary studies at the intersection of language and neuroscience, particularly exploring cognitive mechanisms underlying language processing and acquisition.
She is affiliated with the Clarendon Institute in Oxford and contributes to multiple academic groups including the Phonetics Lab and Romance Linguistics. Her work integrates experimental methods from linguistics and neuroscience to investigate topics such as speech perception, neurolinguistic patterns, and developmental language mechanisms.
Affiliated with the University of Oxford's renowned Linguistics Library and active in collaborative research networks, Dr Lindsay-Smith participates in seminars and workshops across computational linguistics, developmental psychology, and experimental syntax/semantics.
