Prof. Holger Auner is a Full Professor at the University of Lausanne and Head of Hematology at the University Hospital of Lausanne. He holds a joint position as Visiting Professor of Clinical and Molecular Haemato-oncology at Imperial College London. Previously, he served as Head of Translational Research at Imperial's Langmuir Centre for Myeloma Research (2019–2023).

- PhD in Plasma Cell Biology from Imperial College London (2012)
Research Interests: Molecular mechanisms of protein degradation and metabolism in cancers, particularly multiple myeloma. Cross-disciplinary investigations into proteomic/metabolic homeostasis and tissue physical properties. Active in drug discovery and clinical trials (e.g., BOSTON trial).
Key Collaborations: European Myeloma Network (EMN), Francis Crick Institute, Imperial College London researchers (Karadimitris, Keun, Gentleman), and international institutions.
