Hiren

Dr. Hiren is a Research Fellow in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, working under Prof. Thomas Peyrin. His academic background includes a PhD in Mathematics from BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, under Prof. Sabyasachi Dey.

Hiren specializes in cryptanalysis of symmetric cryptographic primitives, with a focus on developing automatic tools for cryptanalysis and exploring intersections with quantum computing. His work targets modern ciphers like GRAIN-128a and ChaCha, applying advanced techniques such as differential-linear attacks and related-key analysis.

Hiren's recent publications (2022-2023) demonstrate expertise in optimizing quantum attacks via Grover's algorithm, refining differential-linear methodologies for ChaCha, and analyzing reduced-round cipher vulnerabilities. These works appear in venues like INDOCRYPT, FSE, IEEE TIT, and EUROCRYPT.
