Hilde Zitzelsberger is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Ontario Tech University. Her research focuses on disabilities/differences, chronic illnesses, embodiment, community health, gender and health, and health-care technologies. She holds a PhD from the University of Toronto. Her work combines sociological and philosophical perspectives with applied health research, including studies on sleep behaviors among university students and technological impacts in healthcare settings.
