Hilde Schjerven

Dr. Hilde Schjerven is a Research Professor at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine. Her work focuses on transcriptional regulation in the immune system, particularly the role of the Ikaros (IKZF1) transcription factor in hematopoiesis, autoimmune disease, and blood cancers like pre-B ALL. She employs genome-wide techniques (ChIP-Seq, RNA-Seq) and in vitro/in vivo models to uncover molecular mechanisms for targeted therapies.
