Dr. Henry Travers is a Senior Visiting Researcher in the Department of Biology at the University of Oxford. His work focuses on conservation in Uganda and Cambodia, with a particular emphasis on integrating ecological, social, and health interventions. He leads projects such as the Ibis Rice impact evaluation in northern Cambodia and a Darwin-funded initiative linking primary health care to conservation outcomes around Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Additionally, he collaborates on projects addressing wildlife crime in Uganda, including implementing community-based strategies at Murchison Falls National Park.
