Henry Sutton is Professor of Creative Writing and Crime Fiction at the University of East Anglia's School of Literature, Drama and Creative Writing. He directs the MA program in Crime Fiction and formerly led the department.
His research examines crime fiction evolution, narrative techniques, and the intersection of genre and literary fiction. Published works include novels like 'Good Dark Night' and critical studies such as 'Crafting Crime Fiction'.
Awards include the J.B. Priestley Award for literary achievement. He co-founded the Noirwich Crime Writing Festival and has judged major literary prizes including the Theakstons Crime Novel of the Year.
