Henry M. Kim is an Associate Professor of Operations Management and Information Systems at York University's Schulich School of Business. He serves as Area Coordinator for OMIS and Co-Director of the BlockchainLab. Kim founded the BlockchainLab in 2016 and leads the $525,000 'Digital Currencies' research project in collaboration with the Bank of Canada.
His research explores blockchain applications in finance, energy, and sustainability. Key interests include token economics, privacy-preserving AI/blockchain integration, and climate verification systems. Kim's work bridges technical blockchain protocols with business innovation.
