Ganesh Viswanath Natraj is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Warwick Business School, University of Warwick. His research focuses on International Finance, Monetary Policy, Cryptocurrencies, Stablecoins, and Decentralised Finance. He explores topics such as the regulatory challenges of stablecoins, the impact of social media on currency markets, and the dynamics of decentralized finance protocols like MakerDAO and Compound.
His work has been published in journals such as the Journal of International Money and Finance and Journal of Financial Economics, with notable contributions to understanding stablecoin stability mechanisms, central bank digital currency policies, and pricing in foreign exchange markets. He has also presented research at conferences like the International Conference on Blockchain Economics, Security, and Protocols.
Natraj currently teaches modules on Fintech: Digital Currencies and Decentralised Finance across multiple Master’s programs at Warwick Business School, as well as undergraduate courses on Financial Markets. His research and teaching highlight the intersection of traditional finance frameworks with emerging blockchain technologies.
