Perry Sadorsky is a Professor of Sustainability and Economics at the Schulich School of Business, York University. His research focuses on energy economics, sustainability, machine learning applications, and financial markets. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Queen's University and has held academic roles since 1990.
His research interests include energy usage in developed and developing economies, digital assets, and strategic management. He has received prestigious awards such as the Web of Science Highly Cited Researcher and recognition in the World’s Top 2% Scientists list (Stanford University).
Key publications span topics like climate finance, systemic risk analysis, and machine learning in energy markets. He has secured grants totaling over $525,000 for research on digital currencies and clean energy investments. His editorial roles include co-editing Energy Economics and serving on advisory boards for journals like Journal of Risk and Financial Management.
