Henry James Morello

Henry James Morello is an Associate Teaching Professor of Comparative Literature and Spanish at Pennsylvania State University. His work examines cultural production in the Americas and Spain, particularly how literature and performance engage with political trauma and historical memory. He has taught at Penn State since 2002, with expertise in theater, film, and transatlantic cultural studies.

Research explores the relationship between artistic media and political conflict, analyzing how narratives bear witness to violence and shape political culture. Current projects include a manuscript on posttraumatic expression in Spanish and Latin American theater.
