Henry J. Silverman

Henry J. Silverman, MD, MA, is Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine with a secondary appointment in Epidemiology & Public Health. He serves as Principal Investigator for NIH-funded research ethics training programs in the Arab Middle East and Myanmar, and co-investigator for a Gambia-based initiative. At the University of Maryland Medical Center, he chairs the Ethical Advisory Committee overseeing ethics consultations, policy development, and education. He also directs a 12-credit online certificate program in research ethics at the University of Maryland Graduate School.
