Henrique Alvim, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Counseling and Human Development Program within the School of Behavioral and Health Sciences at Geneva College. He previously served as Interim Program Chair and Lead Faculty for the Student Affairs in Higher Education Specialty at Walsh University, and has held teaching roles at Kent State University and Youngstown State University. His academic journey includes a PhD in Cultural Foundations of Education from Kent State University (2014), an M.S. in Counseling from Youngstown State University (2005), and a Bachelor in Juridicial Sciences from Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba, Brazil (2002).
