His research focuses on the spread of infectious pathogens using mathematical modeling, computational analysis, and fieldwork, with particular emphasis on arboviruses (Dengue, Zika, Chikungunya) and resource-poor settings in Asia. He integrates epidemiological, genomic, serological, and behavioral data to optimize disease control strategies and inform public policy.
Collaborations span laboratories, hospitals, and public health agencies globally. Recent work involves analyzing SARS-CoV-2 genomes and contact tracing data with the UK Health Security Agency to understand societal structures influencing disease transmission.
