Henrik Davidsson is a Senior Lecturer at the Division of Energy and Building Design, part of the Faculty of Engineering (LTH) at Lund University. His work is evenly split between teaching and research. He teaches solar energy and energy calculations for buildings, while his research focuses on low-energy building design, ventilation systems, and solar energy applications in developing countries, particularly in agricultural drying. He contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11) and affordable clean energy (SDG 7).
Davidsson is a member of the LTH Profile Area: The Energy Transition. His research projects include:
- ASSURE: Adaptation of urban Space through SUstainable REgeneration (2023–2027)
- Bättre inomhusmiljö-vädringsvanor i flerfamiljshus (2022–2025)
- En hållbar cirkulär byggindustri (2021–2023)
He manages two infrastructures: the Energy Laboratory and the Solar Simulator Laboratory. His research outputs include 64 publications, emphasizing solar dryer technology, heat recovery systems, and energy efficiency in buildings. His work bridges academic research with practical solutions for sustainable energy use.
